layout, etc.
Held under USAC permit.

XC MTN BIKE RACE:
USAC-MTB ANNUAL LICENSE REQUIRED FOR EXPERTS AND RANKINGS. Annual Licenses are $60 ($30 for Juniors) and can be purchased at the race site, but historically this takes up to six weeks for the card to be received back. Online purchasing is much quicker. Also, to include this
race in your USAC-MTB ranking, an annual license must be purchased
prior to race day. We highly recommend pre-purchasing a license at www.usacycling.org.

Big South Fork XC Mtn Bike Race
June 20, 2010
Course:(9 mile loop) Big South Fork trails are primarily single track with plenty of roots, rocks, and hills. The race will start on a mile of gravel allowing riders to spread out and then turn onto about 9 miles of single track with a short stretch of gravel road each loop.
Directions: North bound 1-75 exit at Highway 63, the Oneida-Huntsville Exit (141). Follow Highway 63 west for 21 miles through Huntsville to U.S. 27. Turn right on U.S. 27 and drive north 7 miles to Oneida. At the first traffic light, turn left on Highway 297 west and follow 297 approximately 15 miles to reach the Bandy Creek Visitor Center and Campground.

Course: The course includes varied single- track and doubletrack sections. It has a little bit of all types of terrain in it. The trails go from rocky to rooty to smooth and back again. There are tight twisty sections as well
as wide-open doubletrack. The course is the same as the Fall Ocho last year. Directions: Please pay attention to the location of the Start/Finish. When following signs to the Park, You need to turn to the right onto Cameron Rd shortly before the park entrance. This will descend slightly, and near the bottom of the hill, the Start/Finish will be to your right. It is slightly hidden by trees, but will be marked with signage and tape.
Haw Ridge XC Mtn Bike Race

Course:Haw Ridge trails are primarily single track with plenty of roots, rocks, and hills.The race will start on about a ΒΌ of a mile of pavement allowing riders to spread out and then turn onto about 10.4 miles of single and double track.
Directions: From I-40, take 162 North toward Oak Ridge (Pellissippi Parkway). After crossing Melton Hill Lake take the first exit to TN 170, Edgemoor Rd heading east. You will shortly pass the main kiosk for Haw
Ridge on the right; take the next road to the right (Old Edgemoor Road). The race parking will be at the end of the road. From I-75 take the Raccoon Valley Road exit, head east on TN 170, Raccoon Valley Road. Go
straight through the 4-way stop and straight across Clinton Highway. After crossing the bridge by the Bull Run Steam Plant you will take the next road to the left (Old Edgemoor Road). The race parking will be at the end of the road.
